Week commencing 5th May 2014

This week saw the start of our new topic "Vets and pets". We enjoyed spending time in our "Vets Surgery" and developed our counting skills playing Race to the carrot.

We planted out our beans and sunflowers.

Life Education bus and Booboo the donkey!

On Friday, we spent some time in the Life Education Bus finding out about keeping healthy.We were than visited by Pam and Booboo from The Donkey Sanctuary. Pam told us how to take care of a donkey and we have have written some Donkey Fact Files. We are going to send these to Pam at the Donkey Sanctuary.

Week commencing 17th March

This week we have had more visitors. Alan Bennett with his toads ,frogs and waterbugs and on Friday, the  wonderful owls and hawks from Lancashire owl sanctuary.

Week commencing 10th March

A magician visited and performed lots of tricks. It was fabulous!

We had great fun pretending to travel to the top of the beanstalk!

Last week we celebrated Pancake Day.

On Ash Wednesday received our ashes.

We planted some beans in the outdoor area.  We then drew three beanstalks and ordered them by size.
