Week commencing 9th March

This week we developed our counting and subtraction skills by "stealing the golden eggs" from the giant.

We also

used the new glockenspiels during our music session. We tried hard to tap out a steady beat!

Pancake making

Mrs Badowski made pancakes with us last week.

Shakespeare week

Here we are practising for our performance of Romeo and Juliet. During the week we used props to retell the story . On Friday we performed for the rest of the school.

On the sled.

Here we are on our sled travelling to the Arctic.

Helping Anna.

Last week we helped Anna to rescue her friends trapped on the ice. We realised that we needed to make the ice melt so we poured warm water over the ice. After a while we decided to place the blocks of ice in the sun. 

The Snowman.

This week we finished our work on The Snowman. We went on an imaginary journey to Snowman land. When we got there we had a snowman party and a snowman race.

Our first week back.

This week we enjoyed spending time in our new fairy garden. Many thanks to. Mr Fish for getting rid of all our weeds.

We also planted daffodil bulbs for Marie Curie Little Pots of Care.
