Percy

This week we have been reading Percy the Park Keeper stories. We talked about the characters and events and made a collaborative picture.

This week, we a met our reading buddies.

 A group of year 3 children come and read with us twice a week.

Our first few weeks.

We have been very busy exploring the outdoors, mixing potions, making boats and using the trim trail.

We have Morning Maths everyday and have been learning the first set out sounds. We have enjoyed Owl Babies and using puppets to retell the story. We have developed number recognition and counting skills when playing Race to the nest!

Week commencing 6 July 2015

.This week as well as our trip to St Anne's, we have been spending lots if time out doors( as usual)

We made a den for our fox, a waterfall and a robot. We also enjoyed adding numbers together using the fishing game and painting patterns on rocks.

A special visitor.

This week we had a visit from a tortoise called Bolt.

Following the visit we made a book about Bolt for the nursery children.
